thank you for the kind words, i chose this triptych because of the warning Bacon serves to me. he was brilliant at depicting shame, fear, and desperate desire- but he was incapable of moving beyond this, thus stifling the progression of his art. i also deeply resonate with Bacons attempt at depicting the incomprehensible. in this piece i am describing my own tired effort. in all of them really.
